Minecraft 1.21.120.20 for Android and Windows

Developers have released a test version of Minecraft 1.21.120.20 for Android. This update fixes bugs and makes changes. The update includes improvements to Shelf vibration mechanics, adding transparency for nearby mobs, fixes related to tadpoles, blocks behind water, commands, and many other technical improvements.

Changes

Made 6 changes. Important ones:

  • Powering and unpowering Shelves creates vibrations

    • Replacing, removing, and moving items on unpowered Shelf creates level 3 vibration

    • Adding and removing items on powered Shelf creates level 3 vibration

    • Replacing items on powered Shelf creates level 6 vibration

  • Added transparency for nearby mobs in Minecraft

Bug Fixes

Fixed 20 bugs. Details:

  • Tadpoles spawn in water block under Frogspawn

  • Fixed breaking blocks behind water in Adventure mode

  • Fixed positioning of Anvils and Walls on Shelves and in Item Frames

  • /damage command works on End Crystals

  • Fixed location with /locate command

  • Text on very old worlds loads again

  • Starting world with missing Marketplace template reloads template and starts world

  • First-person camera shifts back when looking at Ladders or Vines

  • Made changes to graphical elements

  • Added Suspicious Stew to Creative mode inventory with effect description

  • Killing Zombie Jockey drops "Lava Chicken" Music Disc

  • When interacting with Copper Golem, you can get the item in the mob's hand

  • Copper Golem Statue doesn't have clipped pixels in sitting pose

  • Changed sound fading for Copper Chest opening and closing, footsteps and Copper Golem rotation

  • When clicking on text fields, cursor is positioned correctly even for scrollable message windows

  • Keyboard button on chat screen displays only for touch controls

  • Fixed Armor Trim display

  • Updated warning text about player count for skipping night

  • Added "Reset to Default" button on gamma settings screen in Vibrant Visuals mode

  • Fixed moving items from Creative mode inventory

  • Structures don't generate on top of objects at chunk boundaries
